Title: rescued fishies

I paid 8.99 each for these 5 sickly fish.The woman at the lfs said they were doing great and she had them since wednesday...
as you can see they were not doing great...
they are however eating at this point and more alert and interactive...
lucky for them I had an extra tank I could put them in..they weren't even being treated...

poor lil guys! I usually balk at trying to save sick fish at the lfs...as it can bring disease into your aquarium at home...but since you have an extra tank to quarentine them in, that's great! WOW $8.99? She should have given them to you for free...Was this a chain pet store or a locally owned one?
Man...how did the lfs lady think they were doing great? You should be able to whip that ich with salt and higher temps, make sure you don't have any scaless catfish or the like in with them if you decide to treat with "rid ich" or the like....

Locally owned shop...
It wasn't ich,it was velvet and all fish have died.I did get a full refund from the shop tho...
