oh no :banghead: dont do that dude! Goldfish carry deadly parasites that can kill oscars, once one of mine got VERY sick from this! its better to just buy some feeder fish/guppys.

Thanks vip I let them know thats its off the menu :D

VIP, American Bulldogs rock! I have a half AM BD and he's the greatest. As for the goldfish I agree the celestials and bubble eyes are good to avoid. Get something as close to "original" as possible. :)

To me goldfish are very hard to keep alive. Hardest IMO are pearlscales and Crowned pearlscales. They always die for no gay reason.

Black_Angel - August 29, 2005 10:04 PM (GMT)
I think Ryukins are the hardest to keep because the swimbladder is deformed in them.

OohFeeshy - August 30, 2005 10:41 AM (GMT)
Just go for normal fantail if you want fancy. The rest are really deformed.

hey VIP if you were looking for a big dog check out and irish wolf hound they are sweet

Never2ManyBettas - September 2, 2005 08:33 AM (GMT)
Ryunkins... Shubunkins.... Celestials ( shudder.... their eyes point directly up... FREAKY! IMO)... Telescopic eyes... Ranchus.... Orandas...

I dunno.... I like comets. Hardy... sleek (for a goldfish)... or fantails are good too. Took me a good 8 years to kill off a fantail.

I wish they would come out with one that has a comet's body shape... but with a dual tail like the fantails.

Definately right about goldfish being the worst food item on the menu... especially feeders... usually they are sick. Shipped out in massive amounts.. ideal set up for disease... besides... no real nutritional value to them. Guppies are better. Some betta breeders use Oscars to help dispose of the culls.

Mastiffs.... what's not to love about them? Caucasians.... they on the other hand are just trouble waiting to happen. **eyeballing my shaggy mutt** Somehow I keep ending up with these goofy long haired dogs. (Chow/ rottie/ german shepard & collie mutt puppy.... neighbors ditched him... he adopted us.) He has that puppy look... always will... only thing scared of him is our freaky cat. The squirrels even know they have the upper hand.

Vip - September 26, 2005 05:39 AM (GMT)
I wouldnt say Mastiffs are trouble just waiting to Happen, our rottie has never ever been agressive to another dog, child or anything.
