Ok...so I'm doing the "tank shuffle" right now...re-aranging what goes with who and preparing to get some new tangs....
My one "oddball" that doesn't fit in is my T. dubousi....
and heeere come the dumb questions....
Could I keep my lone Tropheus in a 29tall by himself?...no other fish, just him...
or....
would it be better to move him into my 3ft (46 gallon) bowfront with my peacock trio and what's left of my Mbuna? (I'm afraid I'll starve my peacock on a tropheus diet)
Or...
should I just take him back as I do not have the current capacity to house him properly with a large colony of his own....
I's kinda feel sorry for him on his tod?maybe add another if ya can
I have two T.duboisii with alunacaras and two N.venustus and they are thriving, the tank is heavilly planted, feed cichlid diets and blood worm once a fortnight and they seem fine
Please dont take this charming little pyscopath back to the store as they do have bags of personality
Maybe you could get your Spathodus erythrodon's back & house them with him in the 29 temp with lots of cover. Diet is similar is it not?

*EDIT*oh crap...you said in the 29...I was thinking you were reffering to the 3ft where the tropheus is chilling by himself right now...(I combined my Mbuna and Peacock tank...I just have to be careful with the diet...)
I was thinking about doing the tropheus and gobies in the 3ft......however I was thinking about doing an omnivore tanganyikan set up in that spare tank...the cyps need to get upgraded to one of the big tanks soon too...I'm not really sure what I'm going to do yet...
