Title: Chose my pair for breeding...
Description: Expert's opinions please.

I chose my pair for my first attempt at breeding crowntails.

Here is my male:

So, do you think they are a good match, color and fin wise?? What do you think i might end up with, color wise, from the spawn? This is my first spawn, so i don't know what to expect at all, but don't really care what i end up with, just wondered what you thought i might get. I kind of like the "experiment" approach to breeding, as then you are always surprised. But i don't know what the pair's genetic background is, i got them off of Aquabid from an importer, and neither of them knew anything about the fish's backgrounds.

Thanks! :)

Looks great to me. You will get a lot of solid bright red for sure with slightly small star iridicence in the tail and in some scales. If you get it a clean bright red, take those and breed again. :)
You will also get a lot of cambodian too for females. One thing for sure you get all crowntails too. LOL
Can you take a profile picture of the crowntail male? I really like to see how his color looks like. :)
