Hi guys,

I have this guppy, that i swear has been pregnant longer than 6 weeks. She looks as if she might burst soon. Her "anal" canal looks really swollen and i can see what look stripes of blood around that area. Im afraid that if she doent drop really soon she might die.

Any advice?

This is a result of poor breeding, the fish is so inbred, that she can no longer give birth, and now has internal bleeding, i have seen this lots before. I gaurantee you if you put her to sleep, and then opened her up, the gravid would just be liquid, not unborn fry.

My advice, put her to sleep, get her out of her misery, and buy some new stock.
