Title: My Kribs had babies!

:woo: I looked at the bottom of my 55 gallon today and found little Krib fry swimming in the gravel! This is the first time Ive gotten fry from my Kribs. I hope they don't eat them... :unsure:

Congrats, never kept Kribs yet myself. I do like them though, good luck with the little ones. :) How many do you think you have?
I just pulled around 12-15 fry from one of my Afra Jalo reef today, I moved the setup to the new house and bagged the female seprately to strip the fry later. :)

:drunk: congrats! For feeding, you can try Hikari first bites, cyclopseeze, or baby brine shrimp...try using a peice of airline tubing to suck up the food mixed with a small amount of tank water, then you can feed the fry more easily using the tube to get the food to them....

From what I see...I estimate there are 10 fry. But I'm terrified that the other tank mates would eat the fry...I cant get them out.

Could you use a gravel vac to suck them up with? How big are the fry?

I used a gravel vaccum to suck up the babies. I counted out 5 little fry. I managed to get some pictures...they arnt to great...that I'll upload later.
