Title: I got new gudgeons!
Description: You probably haven't ever heard of them!

Dwarfs - July 5, 2005 07:21 PM (GMT)
My dad ordered 6 goo obo gudgeons from aquabid for $70, and we got 10!

They are very new to the hobby (Possibly 1999, I'm not completely sure) and look awesome!

Their scientific name is Alomogurnda nesolepis (I think) , and this is the only site that I found them for sale on besides aquabid, and they have a different scientific name :P
Goo obo
Ours are around an inch in length, and all ten have made it over the weekend! these gudgeons are going to be awesome!

Goo obo seems to work best when searching for these gudgeons

Just a new guy (here) resurrecting an old thread, but I wanted to follow up and see if you could recommend a tank setup for these guys. What would you say would be the min. tank size for a couple, or for a group of 6? I've got a couple of potential tanks, both planted, that need occupants, and may move in this direction.

Thanks,
David :thanks:

I think a 29 gallon would well suit a group of these. The substrate should be sand (but gravel is fine), and it would be wise to provide many caves for them :)
