Found it listed on aqua-rank. I was skimming around looking for a good freshwater site and stumbled in here and it looks like it might have some good possibilities here so...I signed on. I am mainly into saltwater tanks but wanted to do something a little different so I started a freshwater planted tank and needed some info. So here I am....

welcome ritsuko! hope you enjoy our site! a planted tank hey? never tried one myself but if your into marine i geuss youll enjoy the science behind a planted eco-tank! ever thought about adding some discus, very low maintanence n they love the plants!!

Yeah I have thought about doing that again, especially if I can master the plant thing better this time around. The LFS here has some pretty crappy (and thats a conservative opinion thats postable here...) examples of them so I havent been too motivated at this point. Might have to hunt some down though...They do look stunning and would be very much at home in a planted tank for sure
