My stupid platies are eating all my plants in the planted tank,theyve kurdered the amazon swords and ate the roots off all the runners i was grownig then they are stripping the leaves off the others.so now i have leaves floating everywhere!how am a supposed to stop them :?:

My friends silver dollars were doing the same thing, then she got a seaweed clip and started giving them spinach and dark lettuces every day and they have stopped eating the plants as long as there is something on the clip throughout the day

Also there are plants that some fish don't like the taste of that you may want to get. I don't know what they are but somebody here sure will. Hopefully somebody can help out an tell us what they are.

Java fern and Java moss are not palatable to herbivorous cichlids...so perhaps livebearers would like them either....

Try some Crypto's or vallis they are pretty tough !!!
