I purchased SF Bay freeze dryed blood worms and added them into my fish food mix. With in hours there are hundreds of small white worms crawling on the glass, and a few large ones free swimming. I know blood worms are mosquito larve, but isnt freeze dryed sterile. What io want to know is,.... is this dangerous to my fish. Should i let them eat the worms or should i tear down and bleach. The only observation i can make is that the worms are less prevelent in the sand bottom brackish tank then the pure freashwater tank. If i increase the salinity willl this help kill off the mystery worms.

The avg. worm is appx 0.25 mm diameter, and 1-3 mm long
all white
small ones are anchored to the tank and move, large ones are free swimming.
they are not anchoring to the fish... yet...

Please help i have seen alot but not an infestation like this before...
