Title: Question about Butterflies
BettasRFriends - July 12, 2005 09:11 PM (GMT)
I have a blue butterfly whose fins are not quite yet butterfly since his colorings haven't fully mature I think. His caudal fin is actually a very light blue which can only be seen under a light. My question is: Is it because he's still young so his true butterfly colors haven't yet mature? Here's a picture of him and notice how his dorsal and anal fin colorings are very short.

He is not a butterfly baby. :) He is a marble. Any thing on his body got white, MARBLE. LOL They called it piebald because he got white spot on his head. (is that how yoe spell?) LOL He will never be a true halfmoon because he is only a Delta. At his aged as what I can see, it will be hard to let him turn to a true halfmoon. Max will be super delta. :)
You can give to frano because I am sending you my HM marble just like yours to you tomorrow with a sibling female so you can breed. :) LOL I think mine is true halfmoon or maybe super delta. LOL I still have to check him out tonight. LOL It not, I pull his tail spread wide to 180 degree. LOL
