Ok, I went to a new (well, for me anyways) fish shop, and they have a very nice halfmoon (kind of a steel blue but his colors were very pale), but was laying on his side and breathing kind of hard the guy said he "must have still been sleeping" then when he "woke him up" he was sitting kind of vertically .. kind of like this

and that was how the fish was to the water. perhaps he's in the need of just some clean water and tlc? or could there be some parasites... hmmm.

any suggestions?

I was thinking swim bladder, but it's hard to tell when he doesn't swim much (due to room) Hmmm... wonder if I can get them to go lower on price or better 'cuz he's sick.

I don't smoke in real but that icon looks intense. LOL Ohh, not gail bladder, it is swim bladder. LOL If you wants it, tell them to go lower the price and tell that you buy it because he is real sick.

the top one, yes. the others, not so extreem, um, he was laying on his side, but kind of propped up against the side, but it was pretty close.

Well in that case - we brought the above guy home from petworld and treated him w/maracyn 2. He made a full recovery. Not sure if he had in internal infection or what the story was with him, but he turned out to be great!

I would imagine that good clean water and a dose of some kind of meds after a few days if he doesn't straighten up just from the clean water would fix him up.

It's probably an infection messing with his swim bladder a little bit.
