I Know some people here have encounter buying Betta from Aquabid and we all know what sellers is good(positive), what seller is ok(neutral), and what seller is bad(negative). Therefore, at least we will not fall into the same sistuation. Just talk about your experiences.
My first list is neutral to Wudthishad. He always mentioned how professional his business system is and customer are always his priority to make them happy. Then I bought a betta from him and he knows that I want to send it to Linda. After the Thailand shipment arrival to Linda, she emailed me what I got and his betta is not on the list. So I checked with him and then he reply me saying that he have to check about the betta in a day. After a day had pass, I didn't get any reply from him and then Linda email me that the betta is dead before shipping as what she heard from him. I am so pissed because as a seller, he supposed to informed me first before I know. Somehow, I still haven't recieved his email regarding what to do. Therefore, since I send again another email, I still didn't got his reply so I file a breach to aquabid. Then he was so mad and BLA BLA me that he will paid me back and 20.00 is nothing to him. WOU! OK. :) So this is the type of seller he is. I got refund and I gave him neutral feedback as "Betta dead before shipping. Will not buy from him at all."

Well i have had positive experiences on Aquabid...but i only bought 3(technically, did get a freebie with one auction though :))bettas off of there.
Got my red combtail male(freebie), pink/blue double ray crowntail male(first male i tried to breed with my cambo female)and a royal blue single ray crowntail male(did pass away 1 week after i received it), from a guy named 84Elmo2001. When i dealt with him, he had all positive feedbacks, 1 neutral...i don't know what they are now. Transaction was smooth and when fish didn't get here the day they were supposed to, he was in constant contact with me about it. We were both relieved when they were here the very next day. I would definately buy from him again, if his feedback is still good.
I got my cambo female, doubleray crowntail from a lady named Sue194888. Again, great, smooth transaction and fish arrived in good condition. I see her feedback is still good, so i would definately deal with her again.
With both sellers, the fish were packaged nicely, arrived with warm but not hot water(from heat packs b/c my weather was unexpectedly cold here in May), and out of 4 fish, only one died...and that was a week later, so i'm thinking it was due to stress from shipping and not fault of seller. Oh yeah and neither seller charged me a box fee or required i ship their boxes back.
So my first experience with Aquabid and the sellers on there, was a good one. Definately helps to keep me addicted to browsing on there, and when i get extra money, buying again. lol
