well one of my boys simon tried to pit threw the hole at the bottom of the pot and scratched off his scales on the pot of him and the bottom. what should i do? just leave him heal?

awah he likes his pot. i am going to pot a stone in the hole now and put aquarium sealant in there. should i treat him with marclyn 2?

Nope. Bettafix will work ok. :)

Either Bettafix OR Melafix - Bfix is just half strength Mfix, so cut the dose in half if you're worried it will be too strong. My personal opinion is you can use it full strength, but don't repeat the dose as directed. I've healed many a baby betta's torn fin (my little guys started fighting at 4-5 weeks!) using full strength Melafix.

Don't rush to use antibiotics - they can be very hard on a fish's internal organs. The tea tree oil mixes will help speed up the healing process and regenerate tissue.
