well i went to the mall today for back to school clothe shopping. in one of those island things in the middle of the mall they where selling turtle and betta combos. oh lord it was horrible. they had these beautiful crownie in a 1/2 with a turtle. 1/2 of the tank had a higher spot so the turtle could go up there if it wanted and then the other 1/2 was for the betta to swim and the turtle if it decided to swim . it was really tight for the fish and the turtle. i saw 2 containers where the turtle was in the water and the betta had hoped up ontop to the second layer all dried out :9 how sad

Next to goldfish, bettas are the most abused pet fish out there...

That's just disgusting. When will people ever learn that exploiting animals is never a good way to make money?! ARgh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
