Title: Desperate plea for help
BettaMomma - July 18, 2005 08:59 PM (GMT)
I have a topic open over in the goldfishy section of the site, but if you're like me you don't venture over there all that much if you only keep bettas.
You all love fish like I do, so I thought I'd quick post in here and see if anyone can offer me some good advice on a HORRIBLE situation.
Have a read:
http://tropicalfishchat.net/index.php?showtopic=2670and let me know if you have any ideas.
:banghead: <-- this is the point I'm at right now. And I HATE that.
Thanks.

UPDATE - the fire department is coming over.
I'll stop back later and update on what they do for them.

Tell the firemen to hook up their hose to the fire hydrant and start to pump water back to the pond. Makesure get pond declorinator from petmart. :)

I have a feeling they'll most likely be moving most of the fish. I think the problem will just continue if they put more water in.
We'll see what happens.
If I have to make a mad dash to petsmart I will.
I'm so excited. I can hardly stand waiting for them to get here.

I am so sorry about your lost of your fish. You're right, they're not 'just fish'. I have no advice to give you at this moment, I'm sorry, but I hope everything work out for you. My best wishes

It worked out great - they just left. They pumped about 100,000 gallons of water into the dried up pond. Needless to say the fish were elated. They're coming back tomorrow to see if there's more they can do.
:)

They used water from the other pond upstream.
I'll stop by there in the morning and take some of it with the new water in it.
It's dark outside now.
