Hey guys! When my hubby and I were at the LPS on Sunday (picking up stuff for the new tank), he pointed out this little turquoise betta on the shelf. When I checked him out I noticed his caudal fin was nearly gone. He was the only one of a few dozen that appeared to have anything wrong with him. When I expressed my sympathies for the little guy by hubby basically figured out a way for us to get him. Funny that, since I figured he was sick of my coming home from errands with yet another fish and he had just made me promise that the tank we had bought on Saturday would be our last. Hm, well, I guess you just never know. :) So this one is technically my hubbies. I'm still waiting to hear what he has named him.

Well, he's no show fish that's for sure but that's OK. He's getting more active now that's he's had a couple of days to settle. I'll probably post new pics once his tail is getting better, too.

I like that green color. I think I have new spawn halmoon geno babies with that type of green finally. They just about 2/3 size. :)

Thanks Yeevia. Of course it is a dream of mine to someday have one of your bettas. Anyone of them would put this poor little guy to shame I"m sure. :)
