Thank You All,

Yes I have herd of Odyssea light fixtures before although I am not as familar with there product line as I would like to be. As such I cant really comment on them. I have used a number of compareable products from other manufactures such as coralife and found them to be pretty acceptable preformance and durability wise as long as they require no repair work to be made which is usually difficult to accomplish, as units such as these arent too conducive to be taken a part and repaired and reassembled. If your not a DIYer then this is probably not an issue.

Ive not used AquaTraders so Im not too sure about this company or thier reputation. Prehaps someone else here can jump in and give us both the straight skinny on this....

As a suggestion if your considering the halide version of these lights I would strongly suggest that you consider the heat issue and ventilation and buy a fixture with as much metal as possible. Halides can generate a huge amount of very localized heat and this can set you up for a potential fire should a fan die on you and allow heat to build up and melt the plastic parts of the fixture!

The only person who i bought lights from is coralife.
