He looks like he has that sleeping disorder where he falls asleep right in the middle of whatever he's doing. For instance, having his picture taken.
lol
nice dogs.
We used to have a big ol' rotty - he simply dropped over dead one winter day several years ago. Still don't have any idea why. His name was Boz.
wooly526 - July 23, 2005 01:47 PM (GMT)
Jock is hilarious, he will just stand there at my tank for hours watching my fish, the funnier thing is how my fish all crowd over to him expecting to be fed.
wooly526 - July 23, 2005 01:52 PM (GMT)
also he is a fox terrier cross???? I dont see it in him but hey we still have is mum so the laws of nature dont lie

I have had dogs all my life.
Im a bit worried of Sires. When I asked him to shake hands I noticed this pink bubble about the size of a pea growing out his top paw :hmm: its not irritating him he doesn’t even know its there. It was pink in colour and a day after I put salt and water on it with some cream yesterday I noticed it has gone darker and scabby and it has hair growing out of it. It hasn’t gotten any bigger or smaller. He is still running around like he does. Any of this sound familiar to anyone :?:

DB...is it a pimple?? Dogs can get ingrown hairs too....or it may be a small abscess. Try giving it a light squeeze if he will let you...it may get some of the stuff out of it. Or try putting a little bit of epsom salt paste on it to help draw it first and then try a light squeeze.
If it persists though/or gets bigger...you will prob want to take him to a vet as it may be a small growth.

DB that is a GORGEOUS dog  I love Rottweilers like you wouldn't believe. I've always wanted one but my dad thinks they are "killer dogs" that will attack people for no reason, I plan on getting one when I decide to move out.
I love the 4th and last pic

 yes I know you should see the looks I get when I walk him down the beach  that’s peoples automatic reaction. They don’t realise that no dog attacks for no reason without it feeling in danger or their owners in danger. Ask Damian every one calls him a “big bear” when people come over that he isn’t familiar with and they want to see him they must come out the back with me other wise that’s when the trouble starts, but when they come outside with me the first thing he does is bring his ball to them and demands a scratch on the bum  and no one can imagine him being aggressive but me…..i have seen his angry side before :Vangry: You will have not regrets getting one they are such a beautiful dog to have. He puts a smile on my face when I get home, he sits there waiting for me as soon as my foot steps out the door he wants to play and does 10 laps around the block  I love him to death  ppl always ask me “are you bringing him to the new house” ? HELLO!!!! OF COURSE I AM I wouldn’t be myself without him.

This is Ki Ki and Princess...here you would think that they are best buds... :pft:
but in reality when we first got Princess, she hated cats! :bitchslap:
Now, except for an occasional chasing...all is good!

Looking at all these posts are making me miss my dog Rex a mighty fine german shephard , we had to put him down due to severe hip dysplasia he was pretty much paralised. We had the same misconceptions about german shephards being aggresive dogs, but he was gentle and playful with everyone even complete strangers ( didnt make a very good guard dog ) I believe its all in the dogs upbringing not the breed.
DVSGRL - July 28, 2005 11:12 PM (GMT)
I know what you’re going through Wooly  I had to put 2 of my rotty pups down
1- Had parvo, took him to the vet and cause he was too young to fight it off we had to make the decision to put him down  the hardest thing was saying good by he gave me a lick on the cheek   getting teary writing about him. We took him home and buried him at my x’s house. His name was Tay :rip: :bye: I had to wait a good yr or so before I could get Sires , had to kill all the germs.
2- My x for some f#$ked up reason wanted to introduce the pup to his other rotty who was 14yrs old. I told him it was a bad idea….but u know men :!: Seizer got excited or defensive and bit him on the head :wtf: he rang me up in a panic I was like :wtf: “what’s wrong” he explained the story and I didn’t know what to say……..it was no time for “I told you so” but I wanted to kill him :gun: So we took him to the vet and unfortunately his scull was to soft and couldn’t fight it, he was having convolutions. When he knew me and my x went to visit him his little tail will wag and the vet said “he hasn’t done that for anyone” I couldn’t stand watching him in pain so I said “I want to put him down ASAP” gave him a pat and kiss good bye   His also in the back yard. His name was Luther :rip: :bye:

Here's a pic of our mini dachshund, Sophie. She's both the sweetest little dog and the naughtiest little dog I've ever known. I wouldn't give her up for anything, though. She's my little girlie.
soapiegirl - July 31, 2005 11:51 PM (GMT)
And here's a pic of our border collie, Cody. He is so smart. If you say get your squeaker, he gets it. If you say get your ball, he gets that. He'll sit, give kisses to the right person you tell him to kiss, whatever you want, he'll do. He lives to make me and my hubby happy. Oh, and to play ball or squeaker. Probably more the latter.

Shes gorgeous :!: Awwww is that a Pomeranian :?: I used to have a girl called Misty, she passed away a couple of years ago she had some bubble thing I think a cist and it burst inside her. Usually when I call her she will come running so I found it odd when she didn’t come to me straight away :hmm: I went outside to look for her and she was sitting behind the shed shaking [on a warm day] :wtf: I lifted her up to cuddle her and noticed a wet patch was on the concrete. The vets couldn’t do anything it was from old age :rip: :bye:
mango4jade - August 2, 2005 11:29 AM (GMT)
