Title: Help me, Dwarfs!!!

limegirl - July 25, 2005 06:17 AM (GMT)
Mate,
I am desparately trying to find some desert gobies, Chlamydogobius eremius, but there are none to be found.
Yes I am in oz - Sydney to be precise.
If any one knows, it will be you, right?

Sorry I didn't see this, I've been a bit busy lately. I have never seen desert gobies for sale, but they are on aquabid, (6 for $35 from a guy who overstuffs his orders, I got my goo obo from him) if you can buy them from there (Can you in oz?)

I will check out Aquabid - thanks dwarfs.
Spoke to someone recently who said they are always annual, and impossible to keep - still, they look soooo cool.

No point going to aquabid if you cant find an importer.

I still haven't been to aquabid, and don't know how it works for us Aussies - but really, should I have to go overseas for an Australian native fish? This is the thing that really pisses me off about us Aussie fish geeks - we have so many amazing fish, but we can't get any of them 'cause we all keep exotics!

The person on aquabid no longer has them for sale, but he will probably have some more up soon :)

Barf - August 2, 2005 04:25 AM (GMT)
we have aqua auction in OZ which is effectively dead

Dwarfs - August 3, 2005 01:34 AM (GMT)
Look at this limegirl :)

limegirl - August 3, 2005 02:30 AM (GMT)
See - they are an AWESOME Aussie, but that dude ships to the US only! Heartbreaking!
But thanks for finding it for me ...

limegirl - August 3, 2005 02:32 AM (GMT)
Hey Barf - talk to me about this oz aqua auction. I googled it with no results.

Dwarfs - August 3, 2005 02:45 AM (GMT)
