I was in my mom's back yard today with my kids, and we were sitting by the fence. I looked up quickly and I saw a brownish blod by one of the fence posts. So naturally being the amatuer photog. that I am, I pulled out my camera and looked closer. Well, my jaw dropped, and I cracked up. I saw this 2 headed thing staring at me. It turns out it was a lizard, or 2. Not quite sure what they were doing, or if it was a siamese lizard, but i took the pic. anyways. I don't know you tell me what you think. :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:

A little while later, my mom asked me to see if her gardenia plant had dried out and needed to be watered. So, I went to stick my fingers in the soil to see if it was dry. As I was leaning over to touch the soil, I noticed a weird black thing on one of the branches. I got a closer look, and all I could say was :wtf: I shrieked and left real fast. After I got up the nerve to go out there again ( I know I'm a :gay2: ) I grabbed my camera and snapped away. I think insects down here are like on steriods. I have yet to see a small bug of any kind.

That's not offensive, but it's definitely two lizards mating. My guess would be some sort of Gecko. The shape looks a lot like a House Gecko, but the coloring is a little too reddish, and the head doesn't look shaped right.

I think they are like anoles. Those things, and geckos run all over where I live. South Florida is full of them. The best is when they squeeze under my front door or under the window, and my cats chase them! And before you call the animal rights people on me, I NEVER let my kitties get close enough to touch one :lol:

South Florida, you say? Yeah, then those are likely House Geckos or a closely related species. Anoles are more slender, with stripes more than the splotches of color that House Geckos tend to have. The head shape is also entirely different, with the geckos looking more...snakish, more like the photo than an Anole. I've owned a few House Geckos, and, while the color in the photo is a little odd for them, the shape of the body really looks like them.

The color is totally off, it is my peice of crap camera. I tried to adjust the colors in photoshop, and I think I made it worse.
