Have you ever seen Anubias with long thick roots? Well we will demonstrate how you chop these guys up to produce new plants out of them.

When doing this make sure each piece is a minimum 1 inch long.

I had a huge root (dont think dirty :P ), and I cut it into 4 and got 4 new plants out of them. So cool IMO. Try it one day ;)

So you dont need to leave the leaves on? And how big should the rhizhome be when you propagate?

Recommended length is a minimum of 3-4inchs. Mine was 4inchs long, I just divided mine into 4 pieces (1inch each) and attached it onto the driftwood.
