I may have to move the cories out of the new 29 gallon that I set up for my girlies. I don't think they'll ever get any food! So far the Yeevia girlies have eaten their sinking wafers, their shrimp pellets, their tetramin flakes and even the algae wafers I tried in desparation! They have taken over one barrel cave (when I tried to hide wafers for the cories in there), and the petrified wood cave. Last night they stole 2 wafers and *pushed* them across the tank until they got to the petrified wood, then they chased out the 2 cories that were under there and pushed the wafers in, then they took turns going inside to snack! Smart little babies, but *Greedy Piggies*!

Any creative ideas for getting food to the cories that the girlies won't eat? Or should I find them another tank and just get more girls? hmmm.... They are dieting tonight, before they get too fat to swim, but I'll try to get pictures tomorrow...

HA! Yeevia, how do you teach them these nasty little tricks? And how many girls could I fit into a 29g tank? You know I can't get them locally... :whistle: ... the only place I can find girls is WalMart, and the last time I tried that I ended up with 2 male plakats!

Saucy, I've got 4 red chilis, 2 blues and 1 that I'm unsure of... sorta cellophane with a red spot on her tail... Yeevia, can you shed any light on what that one is?

Yeevia loves throwing in surprises. I thought I had a chili with no color, but she's actually a cellophane marble giant plakat! Just a slight difference there... hah.

My yeevia girls are little hoggies too.
They shove the girls that are 3 times their size right out of the way.
Their bellies get SO fat I have to stop feeding everyone because I'm afraid they will explode. And they LOVE algae wafers in my tank too. You wouldn't think fish would like that stuff but they do.

I think they'll just eat anything.

I'd say move the little cories out and find somewhere to get some more girlies from. :hmm: Hmmmm......
