I was checking out Lita's tail this morning, which has almost completely grown back now and I realized how much longer it is than any of the other females I've seen. I am pretty sure she is female, she has an ovipositor on her underside, but the tail is getting longer and I'm starting to wonder. Her body is about an inch long now, and her tail is about 3/4".
Any of you who have females have ones with longer tails, or is this normal and I'm only used to seeing plakat females?
I'm really confused now. :hmm:
My Daisy has a longer tail than anyone else. It looks like a spade from a deck of cards - it's kinda long and flowy with a point to it. I did some research and there is such a thing as a "spade" tail.
You can kinda see it here:
Whew! I thought I had a gender-bender there for a minute. Lita's tail is about that long or even a little longer. Glad to know she is a she!
