But nice work.

It just the type of mosquito flew by, came and lay their eggs in my 25 gallon tupperware and I am just so lucky. Nothing special to set them up. I just put a pail of water in to the tub and put it outside my yard where there is partial sun and maple tree shading. I put some bad live plants plan and some of my maple leaves. It's been out there for two weeks. :)
Well see this time I have luck anymore to get some more bloodworms this time. :)

Yeah, if you have mosquios, just leave some water outside and you'll get larva. The bloody things are everywhere... >_>

That's great, Yeevia! Maybe I just gave up too soon!
I managed to get live daphnia in a bucket of rain water, though. I just had a bucket sitting on my driveway, it filled up with water, and now there are daphnia in ther. I've been feeding a little of that to my pairs... they LOVE the live food.
I'm going to try to use your method with the blackworms too - but I'm pretty nervous about it!
Congrats on the bloodworms - I wonder if Semper Fi will have any comments or suggestions?
yeeviabettas - August 3, 2005 02:22 PM (GMT)
I remember it is good if you set out a day earlier before a storm hit your area. Then after the storm passed, time for mosquito to breed. :)

Too bad we don't get rain in Wisconsin. We're officially in a drought and like 3" behind on rain... boooo.
TacoFrano - August 3, 2005 10:14 PM (GMT)
my mom would flip since there is such a big scare of west Nile in florida

As long as you don't want to let them hatch and become a mosquito. Just don't forget it else your whole house will have a bunch of mosquitos and they will SUCK you dry! :) LOL
