Title: What will I get?

mango4jade - August 4, 2005 02:40 PM (GMT)
Im obtaining a nice strain of Gold Gold HM Feathertails off a breeder friend on Sunday, and I was wondering if its worth wild to breed them? Also what are the possible results of the fry? I was told it will produce a large percentage gold gold HMs. Whats your views on this? Im not saying I don't believe the owner of these, but Im so excited about getting them on Sunday and would like to see what other members/breeders think.

The female is a true gold gold HM, I also got told the female should be holding over 300 eggs as she is very huge. Cant wait to get em on Sunday jay

:wahoo: :omg: :wahoo: I love that male rosetail of yours on top. I believe they should produce 100% gold but I'm not sure about that. Beautiful bettas :woo:

Look at his scales, not align right and they called it deformation. True betta breeder will not breed those again and as what I read, they will produced all the offsprings with the same type of deformation scales. Just to remind you before you want to breed. Again, yes, they will be gold offspring.

Whoa I did not know that Yeevia. Still, that pair is beautiful even if the scales are deform.

Most breeders in Australia uses rose or feathert tails to improve HM success rates in fry. In the picture the scales look deformed, but it acutally isnt. I had a look at it last week and it was perfect. The tail just looks like in the picture. Very good quality IMO, and other Aus breeders think the same. I will take better pics on Sunday when the male is in the breeding tank.
