EEEEEEEEEE OK.......I know this might not sound like alot but i have .50 Amonia in a 30g hex with only 3 FEMALE BETTAs........3!!!!!! :fire:

i must have it a 0 amonia........no fish has died or no new additions.......temp is 80,

EEEEEEEEEEEE.......the only possiblely i could tthink of is overfeeding......

but i have been battleing this for like 1 week, at first it was at 1, i did a water change then it came down to 75 then another change .25.......i checked this morning its at .50.......

test your regular tap water, maybe the ammonia is in your tap water. if not, try daily water changes, as big as you can make them. Bettas are hardy, it shouldn't bug them. If all else faills, re locate the females for a while, like in a spare bowl, and do daily water changes on it without ammonia being put back in from the fish.

Actually, can't you get that Amonia neautralizer stuff at the store? I think Petsmart has some.
