I just bought a moor with a shorter tail (more of a demekin body type), and a chocolate pom pom. They are little: arround an inch and a half. Dually my 13 inch oranda is in a quarantine tank behind them. They had to have all of their gravel removed so they did not get it caught in their mouths, the filter intake covered so they don't catch their tails, and their feeding schedual is hard because i am used to grabbing a handful per tank (and it is gone in 1 minute or less), these two have one pinch and its too much. Dually could eat them by accident. They are going to be in quarantine for a month so I hope they get big enough for at the least the 55 gallon with the smaller fish. I swear I need to think more before buying little guys again. When I have had fry in the past at least there has been over a 100 of them and they can all go in tanks together. With just two it is going to be fun.

Here he is he is not the prettyest fish. He is a matte scale oranda. The pearlscale in the pic is the size of a smaller apple.

I keep them in a 125 gallon. I have a 33 gallon for a quarantine tank as they are too messy for smaller tanks.

i didnt see that post lol, but for real i will never feed a fish a gold fih, i like them alot now.

Thats not what you said when i had to SAVE a little bubi gold from going in an Oscars mouth!!!! Damian bought a baby goldfish and i thought it was a present for me until i found out it was to feed the Oscar and i staright away said "if you do this tank is out my room" and i saved him! I put a guilt trip on Damian.....

About 1yr later or close to it his all grown up now and living a happy life :D MEANIE!!!! :starwars:
