Description: Having Trouble Posting Your Pictures?
Vip - April 3, 2005 08:13 AM (GMT)
When you hit the "New Topic" or "reply" button it brings up a window with the smiles and so on, then down the bottom of the page you can see a "browse" button, click this button and it will bring up your computer files, double click witch one you want and thats it, hit the reply button and your picture will show up.

Another way is it use the IMG tags that are also in the same window when you press reply> Hit the button and then input the URL of where you picture is, now invision doesnt support all webpages but it does support most, the more commen one people use is Photobucket or tiny pic, upload your picture onto there site once you have done this it will give you IMG url witch will look like this.

i dont have the image attach option. all i'm able to do is link from an outside web source.

The only option I am seeing is the http://. I tried the image thing and that didnt appear to give me results. The "Browse" option is not even showing up on the screen.
I dont know maybe it is this computer or prehaps its may be 2% smarter than me! At least I can link a pic from the website that cich1 turned me on too so thats cool....

rogerlee - January 25, 2007 05:28 PM (GMT)
i joined photo bucket but how do i take the pics off there and put them on here
dtroup - January 25, 2007 11:00 PM (GMT)
Finally a technical question I can actually answer!
You should see little boxes for each picture, you check the boxes that you want, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "create HTML codes" then you will copy and paste the codes it gives you into your post on here.

What image editing software came with your digital camera?
Typically one reduces resolution to 72dpi and then overall size after that.

I have Arcsoft Photo Impression, I've never done that before, and unfortunately it's an older program, but I'll search the help topics. Thanks, if you see my pix you'll know I've succeeded! Otherwise I'll be back to annoy you...

Hi glaive-
thanks for the tip. I also have Adobe photoshop, so I was able to resize them through that. I posted a couple of pix.
