Right so my parents promised me they would get me a plakat from aquabid......


So i go ok and choose the one i want........little did i know the total price plus shipping and all was 50+ dollars

I told my dad and he was shocked.....50 bucks for a fish, so i had to lie to him and say that the seller would throw in a free fish (so it seems that its 25 for each one) and my dad said ok.........So i talked to the seller and ask if he offered anyfree fish and if i could choose i would like a female......he said no...and that a female cost 14 bucks........ :cuss:


I dont wanna have a bad image off the seller because i heard good stuff about him but to me he was acting like a :dickhead:

anways my mom said eh......maybe so yea...........but then they got in an arguement ( not about the bettaS) and now they both agree that due to debt and such They wont buy me the betta..........

so i got piss and felt retarded.........ALL I EVER WANTED WAS A PLAKAT!!!! MY LFS doenst sell them...........they got me good.......I saw this MG plakat and i bought it thinking it was a male

Got home.........saw an egg spot and bang i felt like a :dickhead:

SO YEAAAAAAAAAAA Im a broke 16 year old that wants a plakat.........DOESNT THAT SUCK...........

and now i cant buy anything from aquabid cuz im banned for not buying the fish with i clicked buy now :cuss:

i thought egg spots ment it was male? coz they wave it in front of the female (she thinks its a dropped egg, goes to collect it) and then the male cums in their mouths on the eggs

That sucks big time, DaSauce. I've always wondered what they do when you don't pay for an auction you've won... is it a temporary ban, or can you never bid on Aquabid again?
I know you've probably got your heart set on a certain colour or something, but hey... you can have some of my plakat juvies for the price of shipping :whistle:. You are from the US, right?

plakats are good, but the prices on aquabid are insane.. i seriously cannot believe people pay the money they do for fish.. plakats arent too hard to come by around here so i cant complain.. maybe if you find some plakat juveniles on aquabid you can get a good deal on 5 or 6.. that might be an option.. ive seen reasonable prices on lots of juveniles..

Synirr is offering her beautiful plakats. They are very nice and if you breed them, you will get copper.
By the way, if you want green or blue MG chocolate plakat, you have to wait for two more weeks. I think I might have few males in the pool. As the three I have been jaring, they turn out very pretty for competition. :) The body become more darker chocolate now. :)

not too hard justhal. in fact, i have done it with cichlids. i boxed them up for shipping, used my friends canadian address for a return and went over the border to mail them. lots cheaper too.

marianne lewis brings her fish she is mailing in the states over the border also. mails them from a states post office.
