ok im not sure if i can do this, i am going to rescue a betta at school. hes in a really ucky vase, she doesnt feed him much and doesnt declore or use bottled water. if i can do this i have a aquaview he will go in there until i can get him a nicer one. i have to beg him off a guidence concuiler at school. he looks alot like gus and he is adorable! i have to let my mom know then we will set this up to get him and il get him. i dont care if he lives long i just want to get him out of the vase. hes dark brown and has red fins from what i can see. if i get him il ask for name suggestions!

kudos to you. If your mom for some reason doesnt want you to have him, maybe offer him to a friend? Or educate his owner to proper fish care? (buy her a bottle of dechlor and a caresheet for one) and maybe offer to take care of him weekly too? These are just suggestions if for some reason something doesnt go as planned.

I'm shocked that the fish isnt dead because of the chlorine...

I GOT HIM! he is pretty normal. im shocked he isnt dead either. i poured the vase water out and it smelled like rotten eggs! :gross: hes pretty happy here. he likes the food so he will be like everyone else LOL
hes kinda scared of people. he has those huge pectoral fins though.

I have Officially named him nemo. not the one from finding nemo. in Finnish Nemo means nobody and he never had a name. and its a really pretty Nightwish song that fits him really well.
