Lets just say I had a group of 20 platties/swordtails,
Would they breed?
If they did would they just eat the fry?? Im not planning on taking them out. Im not purposley trying to breed them. I just dont want to end up with 32432324 platties.
Thanks.

assuming you have them in a regular tank environment and have males and females they will breed, they may cross-breed with each other, and yes they eat there babys although it can happen for the babys to grow up in a community tank (only ever one or two at a time though, never all 30 or so)
