So I got two teeny girls from Walmart a week or two ago... this morning I found the little white girl dead and half-eaten on the bottom of the breeder net... ugh. I just know she killed her... and should have known, as she had been picking on her. I was SO pissed at the other little girl, I just tossed her out into the big tank and let her fend for herself. Of course, the other girls are leaving her alone.

Is it bad for me to want SOMEONE to nip at her so she knows how it feels??

I know it's upsetting, but it is their nature. I had a real hard time with Booker after he attacked and killed a couple of my fish and two frogs, but I had to accept that he was just doing what was his nature to do. Try not to be too upset with her. Maybe just a stern talking to . . . . ?

Aww. That sucks. Girls can be viscious too, not just the males. I would get that naughty girl her own little bowl, and not put her with any other girls. She deserves a life of isolation, the little stinker.

-_- that's so sad. It's horrible, but it really is their nature, ESPECIALLY between 2 girls left alone together. I'm so happy I've never even seen one of my fry eat or maim another, it's terrible to even imagine.

Try not to take it out on her, though. My pygmy cory ate 250 of my fry... and, as much as it pissed me off, it wasn't his fault at all. Good luck with the living girl! Hopefully she won't be doing that again.

But thats neat your wal mart has females ours here dont sell female guppies or bettas. they sell just the males.
