My new pintail platy last night decided to start giving birth while eating dinner. She was very un-dramatic about it, they just started coming out while she was eating :lol: unlike my other platies who sulk for days beforehand :P
ANYWAYS, I netted her and let her give birth in peace (not that she cared) and now I am the owner of 25 newborn platy fry. The mum is a red wag/tuxedo and the fry have varying colours allready ranging from really pale (almost white) to really dark (almsot black) with most of the lighter ones exhibiting darkness on their tails and fins.
AND....I am NOT going to be using them as feeders. THE LFS said they would buy the pintail ones off me. I will convince them to take all of them though jay . That is after I keep the healthiest ones :brows:
