Feeding:Flakes, sticks, insects, worms, pellets, and frozen/freeze dried treats will all be accepted. Once they settle in they will usually eat what you give them.
Water:Neutral pH and a temperature from 75-80 degrees will be good.
Hiding: These fish will not feel secure unless they can hide, they are naturally shy and will need a retreat to feel comfortable. Large terra cotta pots or plants will work well.
Tankmates: These fish are non-aggressive and make great tankmates. IME, they do very well with synodontis species, bichirs, african butterflies, and Mogurnda gudgeons.
(If anyone has experience breeding these fish or other info then please reply and add it)
