Vip-Black Ghost Knifes get to about 24 inches in wild but I think they are more like 18 inches in captivity. My 2 are about 6 inches each. I need to upload my pix though.

That bgk is about 11 inches,and very thick.He doesn't try to eat his tank mates which include

jade eye cichlid juvies

2 other bgk.

to bad they grow so slow, mine has grown about 3" in the past year and is about 8" now i thin, these guys live for upto 50 years!!!!!!!!!!!

They do grow very slow...and they eat like pigs..lol
