Peacock bass happen to be a local fish here, can catch em everywhere!

thanks again everyone. The tank was actually only a 150 gallon. I ended up having to give the pbass to someone in the area that had a much larger tank for them., which I figured would be better for them. Ironically, shortly after they were given to this guy, they all died. I'm not sure if there was a problem with the fish or this guy just didn't know what he was doing, but it was tragic nonetheless.
Phantom thief, you are a lucky man. It has always been my dream to go to South America and go Peacock Bass fishing. I was able to do some pbass fishing in Florida this past October with a couple friends and did pretty well. I still want to catch some monsters in the Amazon though.

actually, we didn't see any true red terrors, just Uropthalmus. Uro's aren't native there, they are an invasive species, most likely introduced by aquarists that didn't have anywhere to put them when they became too big or too mean.
