Any idea this is? Just a name would be great! :drunk:
Looks like a Button Coral. This LPS corals is sometimes called a Meat Coral, Cats Eye Coral or Modern Corals as well depending upon your location and the distributor that sold it. Its a fairly nice coral thats fairly hardy if its carefully handled. The tissue one it being as delicate as it is is easily punctured and if that happens it will often result in Brown Jelly Infection and usually proves fatal. They are usually shapes of Brown, Pink and Green. Im not aware of a way to frag this coral but it will sometimes produce buds. It requires moderate lighting to support the algae within its tissue and can usually although not always recieve adequate nutrition this way. How ever it is best to use tweezers and rake small bits of fish flesh or small krill across its oral disc shortly after lights are out (using led moon light to see what the heck your doing of course) when the tenticle are out. This particular coral can be seriously damaged by stings and encroachment of Apitasia.
Let me know if you need any more detailed info or if you have other questions...
