I still have Ich running rampant through it. Tried a few medications and my texas cichlid still has it along with one of my female bettas. Increased the salinity and the temp is running about 84 degrees. Thus far it has claimed the life of my Gold Nugget pleco but none others. Guess i will have to try yet another medication. :(
Thats unfortunate to hear , i understand that those plecos are rather prone to loss though. I hope for the best for the other tank inhabitants
yo did u add heavy salt???
medications almost always work best if u add some salt
look on the direction
for example when I am treating something (last i treated fungus) i had double the usual amount of salt (says on pack of my aq salt how much to add) + my copper safe and the treatement cleared it in 1 go even though it was not very spread (only 1 fish)
for ich I would look for something liquid with malachide green or mithelin blue in it
best of luck with your treatment :boxer:
I never use medications. All I use is aquarium salt. 5 teaspoons per gallon, for three days. Temp at about 82-84 degrees farenheit.
