i dont know what happened to my last thread but still having the problem. i have blood worms, but cant figure how to feed him, help please
use a turkey baster and blow the worms right into his little hole, that's really the easiest way
I had this problem before. All I did was get a frozen chunk of blood worms, and hand fed it. What I found was that the knife was curious about my hand, and came to take a look and found food. Now when I stick my hand in the tank it comes out, and will rub against my finger. They are actually quite smart. The turky baster idea is also a great idea. Your bgk might also be eating when you turn out the lights for the night. Mine does this when I don't hand feed him. So what I do is drop in the worms then turn out the light. It also tends to eat the worms a few at a time. Searching the gravel for worms. Let me know if any of this info helps.
thanks!!!
do you buy frozen blood worms chunk or did you make it , iv seen a fish food recipe that you take ingretients and mix with a little gelatian, is the what you mean?
as for the turkey baster, how do you keep the from floating out of the hole,my 100 gallon has a fluval 404 an 2 200 bio wheels, so the water is moving a little?
Just grab a frozen chunk. It will slowly melt in your fingers. The bgk should come pick off of it.
