The janitor fish is a Pleco, you dont need 2 in a tank but you can if you want to. How are they dieing on you? just dieing or can you see blood on them?

It might be the LFS from where you are buying them from, thay might have a bad batch of them. It has happened to me Severums my LFS had people comeing back all the time saying there Severums were dieing on them so you might have the same problem. Try buying one from another fish show.
Where did you buy this one from?

Fish dont just die normally!!!!!
If a 20 year old human 'just died' would you think oh well its just normal  , after reading all your posts paul i think you have really bad water quality.
imo u need to start to regulate your WC to once a week and to buy water test kits, also do u use a dechlorinater when doing water changes?? You might have poor tap water causing problems for you.
I hope this isint to abrubt but are you under 12 years old or is english not a first language :?:

The common pleco is tough as old boots, and hard to kill, somethings really wrong, get that water checked!
I have one thats 5 now, ive had him since i first started keeping fish, however i know an aquarist with tow who are 15 and 17 years old, so do your fish a favor and get that water teseted!
