Okay i have three bala sharks in my tank and i know that when they school they like to rub up against one another and things like that. But you see mine (especially one of them) continually does it liek 24/7 and he jus like puts his mouth on the other two (which do this sometimes) like nonstop and it looks like hes really bothering them and stressing them. I could be wrong but I mean ive owned balas before but never have i seen this. One of them appears to be missing some scales but none really hav any visual damage. Im jus hoping this is normal, can anyone explain this?
If there is a pic...I can't see it...but, it sounds like normal behavior to me...
Ill try and get a pic later tonight, i dont have my camera with me right now
it's normal behaviour man...mine do it 24/7 to, bala sharks love the company of others... :) so it's all good
What size are they and what is the size of the tank? I have two balas around the 12" mark and they do this only at feeding time. It all started when they got moved out of the 150G and into the 75G (the black shark was beating them up too much). I put it down to lack of space so they are feeling crowded.
