Description: Breeding soon, I hope

I'll warn you all now, this is the cleanest looking pic of the mogurnda tank that you will see :)

Now, onto the algae, water marks, and god knows what else!

I've put my Mogurnda clivicola back together after about a month of rest for each and some heavy feeding for the female. I put her in today and within ten minutes she was trying to get fat ol' mo to spawn, no luck yet with the lazy blob :P
(Mo is the big one, the unnamed female is the smaller one)

mean ass looking fish dwarfs, are they agressive like cichlids?

limegirl - December 8, 2005 12:32 AM (GMT)
Great shots, Dwarfs! She is one horny little female!
Good luck with them, and keep us up to date!

Dwarfs - December 8, 2005 01:16 AM (GMT)
Thanks :)

Vip: Mogurndas are agressive in their own minds, against any even slightly agressive cichlid around their size, they are pushed around, and IME, beaten. Luckily these are tough fish and very fast healers. Mo has gotten his upper lip ripped off before

The pair has been separated for a little while (Wife beating problems) But I am fattening up the female and will get them back together either tomorrow or friday :)
