could a baby 1.5inch silver arowana live with a 2inch Iridescent Shark will there be problems?
fishy_guy - December 28, 2005 05:47 PM (GMT)
whats the mininum tank size needed?
ShadowElite951 - December 28, 2005 11:26 PM (GMT)
They both get very large. Plan to have a 200+ gallon to house the aro when it gets bigger. But I don't think there would be any problems if they are put together for now.

There shouldnt be a problem.
Expect to upgrade to somthing like a 8x3x2 though.
You will need width.

ShadowElite951 - December 30, 2005 12:47 AM (GMT)

also i heard you must give a baby arowana the right foods. so i was wondering what to feed them?
Steve - December 30, 2005 03:50 AM (GMT)
If you are seriously going to do this you should start off as big as possible. This will prevent having to upgrade so often and save you money in the long run. I would start off with a 125 gallon atleast.
Baby aros will eating bloodworms and krill. They can be trained onto pellets and I suggest you do this. They love crickets also.
