You've kinda got missed out here!
There are plenty of plants that wont die - and plenty that will, depending on the size of the tank, the lighting, the filtration and surface movement, the substrate, temperature, and any fish you'll be keeping in there.
A really great way of coming up with planted tanks is to chose a biotope - Amazon river, European stream, New Guinea stream, etc - research the plants linked to that area, and work from there.
You could also suggest some styles of plants you are interested in - long and thin, big leaves, groundcovers, etc - and people might be able to help you from there.

What kind of fish will you have in there and what size tank is it? Taller tanks require higher wattage lights.
