thanks fellas, there is a crazy little convict in the tank with them that has a taste for fins so that's why i put them in the hospital tank and am treating them.

I am not one for oscars...dislike them with a passion, but that guy of yours is a very clean and sharp looking oscar!! For as nice as those two fish are...that convict would be a feeder in no time short. nice pix.

I love the colors on the Mextico. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get him?

i got it at a lfs across town, they order all of their new world cichlids from Jeff Rapps. i wish they would order more of these guys i really want to try and get a breeding pair.

they usually have a few barred midas around, along with some haitiensis, pure red devils, along with some other not so common stuff i can't remember right now. it's a pretty decent store, but the prices are a bit high.
