Guppies are the rabbits of the fish world.
Males harrass the females. They'll swim up and aim their gonopodium (their modified anal fin) and fire into the female. The female has the ability to choose sperm from the mate she thinks is most attractive.
The female gives birth every 30 days to live young. They often get eaten by the mother or other fish.
However, it's highly likely that the females were already pregnant when you got them - so you'll probably get babies sooner.
I'm willing to answer any further, more specific questions.
I love guppies. :D

There will be no eggs. Guppies have live fry. The babies will normally hover near the surface in the corners, though may hide in the plants too. The other fish will probably eat them, but they may survive in the plants if they're lucky. ;) If you want to save them, you could put them in another tank or keep them in a guppy tank (floating thing) for 2 weeks until they reach a size unconsumable.
Baby guppies will eat anything - mine have always had crushed flakes and done fine.

You will want to have 2-3 females for each male to reduce the stress level, the males are horny little buggers

There is a rule in the fish world that goes like this
"If you can fit in my mouth you will be breakfast, lunch, dinner or midnight snack depending on what time of day I can catch you"
As for selling them back, you might be able to but I would plan on considering them food because like you said, there were so many fry in the tank you got them from. Would you buy fry if you didn't have to?
As for the fresh food, you can always freeze it, but I would bet on needing it almost continusly if you have several females they probably will not drop fry at the same time so there will most likely be fresh fry most of the time.

Could be a silly question but......
I have a handful of guppies in a tank. How do u know the boys from the girls?
We have a high - freakin' high chlorine level in our water supply here - so you have to check your water thoroughly (spelled wrong I think lol).
I lose fish due to this occasionally. Any tips on how to keep the tank and the fish happy and well?

Hey Lisa. Here (we're in Adelaide) we're told to add 4 times the advised about of dechlorinator to the water before putting in the tank. Works here. :)
As for boys and girl guppies - boys are normally very pretty with flowing fins and girls are round and fat, and less pretty. If you can't see obvious differences in your fish, then I'd think they're all the same sex.
