I have a 125 gallon tank with normal lights. The tank has two jets (one on either end) to give it good circulation. The tank has been up for a while now and seems to be set up well. Not knowing too much about anemones, i jumped into something i might not be ready for. I purched the anemone three days ago so it's still new to the tank. The second night i had it the anemone shrivled up to about 3 inches across (normally about 8 inches across) and its foot shrivled up. The top was covered in mucus and it looked near to death. I placed a jet close to the anemone blowing across it and to my amazement, the anemone was looking great in the morning. That day the mouth was spit out on the sides most of the day but that was it. It looked good for a day so we moved the jet slightly above it. Now a night later the anemone has gone back to looking very sick and shrivled. I put the jet flow across the anemone and it started to open again, except the mouth appears very streached. What is the problem? Any suggestions? By the way, i tried to feed it raw shrimp by dropping it near to it's mouth, with no success. Just wasn't interested. My clowns just don't want their home to die!
