Scientific Name- Tetraodon biocelatus
Common Name- Figure 8 Puffer
Size- Around 3 inches
Origin- Asia
Water Type- Brackish. This species is not too incredibly particular about salinity, so 1.005 would suffice. 1.013 or so would be best. Hard and alkaline water as well.
Food- like most puffers, a varied diet of shellfish like shrimp and prawns, clams, bloodworms, krill, snails, etc.
Sexing- no discernable difference
Breeding- unknown
Compatibility- Not real agressive as long as they are fed. Will probably nip fins. Can be kept with other Figure 8's and species like mollies, platies, swordtails, etc.
