Title: Look what I found in the filter!
Description: XD

I noticed my Tire Track was missing for a while...I had no idea why. I looked everywhere...under rocks, around the heater, under the filter, in the gravel...EVRYWHERE. So...when I was playing Halo 2 I happened to hear a frantic splashing noise and I saw something swim up the filter. I lifted the lid to my Aquaclear...and there he was.

Can he be in there without being hurt...or should I put netting around it...?

I'd net him out. Eels are famous for their escape artisit tactics. Be altra aware of any gaps in your hoods larger than his diameter. I have used masking tape to cover some of my gaps.

Are you sure thats a Tire Track? Im positive those markings are way off. Coulod be something else. Unless he is a juvie...

He's a little guy...less then 7 inches. 100% Tire Track.

I found 5 feeder fish in my cannister filter yesterday.

They would have been in there for 2months atleast.

Nice tire track . If anyone in AUS wants one PM me.

Is that an Aquaclear hang-on filter? He has done well to get into that without being blended! I thought the intake fed straight into the impellor?
Beaut fish though.

I've caught mine going up the output overflow....so I imagine he got in that way...I can't see him being able to avoid the impeller....

Yes...it's a Aquaclear 500. He swims up the output though... There is no way he can fit in the intake.

Well...he cut the habit after me taking him out a few times.
